Kevin Farrell, Green Party Local Area Rep and Paul Gogarty TD continue to liaise with the Finnstown Abbey Residents’ Association and other Groups regarding the establishment of a School time-related HGV Ban on the Newcastle Road.

We have launched a Petition Campaign to have a County-Wide School-Time HGV ban implemented. As part of this process, Cllr. Dorothy Corrigan has submitted a motion on the County Development Plan 2010 – 2016. This has passed the first stage.
